“Strategy isn’t theory. It’s observation, logic, and the courage to act.”
Early Insight
I’ve always approached the world differently.
Growing up, I was drawn to sport, making connections, and engaging with complex thinking. I was identified early on with an IQ above 150, and by the age of five I was playing chess, my first introduction to strategic adaptability and forward planning. By eight, I’d read the entire Sherlock Holmes series. I was fascinated by Holmes’ ability to observe what others missed and use logic to reach clear conclusions. That mindset shaped how I saw the world.
My parents owned shops, and I often helped out where I could.
It gave me early exposure to the realities of business, customer service, stock control, and the small decisions that made a big difference. I saw how people responded to clarity and consistency, and how trust was built through action. That experience grounded me in practical thinking long before I entered the corporate world.
Formative Discipline
In 1996, at just 17, I joined the British Army’s tank regiment and was deployed to Bosnia.
It was a crash course in discipline, resilience, and leadership under pressure. I learned how to make decisions in high-stakes environments, how to adapt quickly, and how to lead with clarity when it mattered most. That experience didn’t just shape my character, it sharpened my strategic instincts and gave me a lifelong respect for precision, accountability, and purpose. I left in Decmeber 1999, beginning my step into civilian life and work.
Corporate Frustration
As I moved into senior roles, I quickly saw how poor leadership and weak strategic thinking held businesses back. I delivered measurable results, including productivity gains of over 360%, but my insights were often ignored. When I questioned decisions, I was sidelined. When I stayed quiet, the failures I predicted played out. It became clear that many environments weren’t built to listen, adapt, or improve, they were built to maintain the status quo.
Despite the impact I made, I never truly fit in.
Not because I couldn’t lead, but because I couldn’t accept mediocrity or inefficiency. I learned to keep my head down and get on with it, but I knew I could do more.
Building Solutions
In 2014, I launched my first consultancy.
It was a chance to apply real-world knowledge, experience, and logic without compromise. I worked directly with businesses to improve processes, solve problems, and drive growth. For four years, I helped clients achieve measurable improvements, often by doing what others overlooked, listening, analysing, and acting with precision.
In 2018, I took a sabbatical.
I wanted to reset, focus on personal growth, and build something that reflected who I was and how I thought. That led to the creation of SLERADIO, a global creative community built on trust, collaboration, and shared purpose.
Creative Rebirth
SLERADIO became a space where musicians and creatives could thrive.
By 2022, we were reaching over 1,600 daily listeners. I expanded my skills in app development, marketing, and audience engagement, and deepened my understanding of how technology and community could work together. It was the first time I built something entirely on my own terms, and it worked.
Strategic Vision
In 2025, I launched Soundbridge.
A business management framework designed to solve real problems, empower people, and support sustainable growth. It’s the culmination of everything I’ve learned, from early shop floors to senior leadership, from consultancy to creative platforms. Soundbridge isn’t just about managing business. It’s about improving it, with clarity, adaptability, and people at the centre.
Future Focus
Looking ahead, my goal is to expand Soundbridge into a global standard for people-first business. I want to challenge outdated models and replace them with frameworks that prioritise clarity, adaptability, and human connection. Whether it’s through mentoring, platform development, or strategic partnerships, I’m committed to creating environments where people thrive, not just perform. My dream is to build systems that outlast trends, empower communities, and prove that meaningful progress starts with listening, logic, and bold action.
My consultancy ethic is rooted in clarity, integrity, and impact. I don’t believe in surface-level fixes or generic advice, I believe in listening deeply, analysing precisely, and acting with purpose. Every business has its own rhythm, its own challenges, and its own potential. My role is to uncover what’s holding it back and build systems that move it forward.
I approach every engagement with a commitment to truth over comfort. That means asking the hard questions, challenging assumptions, and refusing to settle for mediocrity. I don’t just solve problems, I look to dismantle inefficiencies, expose blind spots, and create frameworks that empower people to lead with confidence and clarity.
Trust is central to everything I do. I work side by side with clients, not above them. I believe in collaboration, not control. My consultancy isn’t about delivering a report and walking away, it’s about building lasting change, grounded in logic, empathy, and measurable results.
Ultimately, my ethic is simple: listen first, act with precision, and leave things better than I found them. Whether I’m working with a startup or a legacy organisation, my goal is always the same , to unlock potential, elevate performance, and build systems that work for people, not just profits.
